I want to donate a toy to a child that has illness and was wondering who to donate to, I looked at the St. Jude website and it appears that they only take monetary donations for the research hospital. Just recently lost someone to cancer and want to make a difference to a child in need.

Our community is very small and close knit. The ratio of those with cancer in our community is about 1 to every four people. Our commuinty is located in an awesome valley with major biking trails and two ski resorts. The old Hiawatha train route has been revamped into a mrvelous bike trail with over 10 tressels and 10 tunnels, one beig 1.7 miles long. We would like to organize a bike ride for cancer and donate the proceeds to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

I recently got quite a sum of money and am planning to donate to assist patients with cancer or cancer research. I also want to make sure that the money goes directly into helping the cause, and not into someone’s paycheck. Plz help me find the most reliable/ best foundations or let me know what you recommend! Thanks.

I want to cut my hair to shoulder length and give it to a charity that makes wigs for cancer (or alopecia in general) patients. But the length I want to cut off isn’t long enough for Locks of Love’s requirements. Does anybody know of any other charities that accept hair?
